I have been walking with God since I was 5 years old and I gave my life to Jesus with my mom in my childhood bedroom. My faith has had its ups and downs but the Lord has seen me through it all and I feel so undeserving of the blessings and provisions he has given to me.

I married my teenage sweetheart in 2018 and we built a life together with Christ as our foundation. We have 3 girls and hope to continue to make little image-bearers as long as the Lord allows. My husband works with computers and I stay home with our girls keeping house and schooling them. My free time is often spent outdoors, reading a book, or crocheting.

My goal as your doula is for you to feel heard and supported. I want to ensure that you feel in control of the decisions being made, during your pregnancy, in labor, and even postpartum!

Sara was an amazing doula to me during my first pregnancy and birth! She consistently checked in on me throughout the pregnancy and made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. She answered my questions realistically and also made me think of things I had not thought about before. Labor escalated very quickly for me, and I felt very nervous. But as soon as Sara arrived, I felt so much more at ease. She helped me find better birthing positions, helped get me whatever I needed, and just gave me so much reassurance that I was doing great. She even helped me with breastfeeding and was a huge mental support during postpartum. She also made my husband feel included in the whole process which was huge for him. I could not have asked for a better doula than Sara!

Sara not only was our guide but also our supporter throughout the whole birthing process. From our first meeting, she got us all the information we needed and hadn’t even thought of yet. She did all of our research for us to make sure that we were fully informed and didn’t leave any stone unturned. She had given my husband the tools to be a better supporter given that this was our first pregnancy. It was very important to me that my birthing process was what we wanted not what someone else had decided, and she made sure that that was the outcome. She helped be our voice in the doctor's office when we could not speak for ourselves in the midst of all the chaos. On top of all of that, she even brought essential items to help me cope with the pain during my contractions! After I gave birth to my son, she made sure to stay as long as we needed and help us get up to our room. After we arrived home, Sara even made a point to come visit us and check in on how the baby was doing. She made this experience personal even documenting from when we arrived to the to the doctors office to when my contractions accelerated, and to what time I started to push so we could have record of this amazing experience. I feel that my birthing experience was my own and that we were supported along every step of the way because of how involved Sara was and how prepared she helped us be.
